Jambi (ANTARA Jambi) - Two China's investors Ms Zhang Yuhong and Mr Jimmi Gunawan, representing PT Mega Top Inti Selaras, group of Fuhai Limited of China, have expressed their interest to invest in building steel factory in Jambi's port area.
The two investors intended to construct steel factory at Jambi's Samudera Ujung Jabung port area, marked with the ground breaking activity in the location, Ms Zhang Yuhong said here on Friday.
The investors have traced the Batanghari river in effort to watch the potential of natural resources in the region.
Fuhai is an international company that engaged in metal industry, based in Beijing, Ms Zhang Yuhong said, adding that Fuhai is also operational in ASEAN countries, Russia and Africa.
"We plan to build steel factory in Jambi provincial village of Sungai Itik, Ujung Jabung port area," Zhang stated.
Zhang, who has several times come to Jambi, said that this province has a great potential to be developed.
"Steel factory is a pioneer we will develop by maximizing natural resources and protecting the environment," Zhang added.(Ant)
